Welcome to Ghoul School
The Ghoul School Academy of Scaring, or simply known as Ghoul School, teaches the art of scaring to young ghouls hoping to one day become full ghouls. The Ghoul School was founded in 1731 by Gobbly Ghoulstein who believed that some ghouls could benefit themselves by mastering some scaring skills. So he built Ghoul School atop a steep hill in a spooky place in order to attract the region's vast population of ghouls.
Shortly after Ghoul School's construction was completed, Gobbly decided to celebrate by going fishing. Unfortunately for Gobbly, he was swallowed whole by the Sneaky Serpent of Spooky Lake. Shortly thereafter, Gobbly's brother Grilly, took his brother's place and opened the school becoming its first headmaster. Grilly believed that all ghouls, and not just some, should learn to scare in order for ghoul society to sustain. Grilly coined the infamous phrase that remains the current motto of Ghoul School to this day: For a ghoul to matter, a ghoul must scare.
Throughout the centuries, the lineage of the Ghoulsteins produced some of the greatest scarers ever to attend Ghoul School. From Gurgles Ghoulstein to Gemma Ghoulstein, the family history is legendary within the ghoul community. There have also been 12 Ghoulsteins whom served as Ghoul School Headmasters. Today Ghoul School's Headmaster is Buella B Bottomrot and though she might not be a Ghoulstein, she might very well be Ghoul School's most terrifying headmaster yet.
